ROUNDCOLLAB Contemporary Asian Art is elated to announce the opening of “Out Proud Quietly Loud,” an evocative exhibition running from May 25 to June 22, 2024 at the DTLA Proud A+R=T Center, located at The BLOC, 700 W 7th Street (Ground Floor, Entrance near Starbucks), Los Angeles, CA 90017.
In conjunction with the Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage and LGBT Pride Months, this showcase will bring together a vibrant collection of works by emerging and established Asian artists from the U.S., Canada, and worldwide.
This exhibition is also showing concurrently with an expanded number of works in San Francisco at the SF LGBT Center from May 20 to June 27, 2024.
“Out Proud, Quietly Loud” explores the intersection of queerness, identity, and representation within the queer Asian community. The exhibition delves into the unique experiences and perspectives of its members, highlighting their stories through different mediums and encapsulates the nuances of identity and representations.
This exhibition aims to foster dialogue and understanding, offering a platform for voices that are often underrepresented in mainstream narratives.
