DAVID MOSQUEDA
MR. CACHONDO LEATHER 2024
David “Bandido” Mosqueda spends his days as an HIV Prevention Services Supervisor. He helps Spanish speaking new arrivals to the country navigate the healthcare system to receive HIV prevention assistance, and sometimes if needed HIV care. He is recognized nationally for his work and has presented on how to best assist undocumented Latinx individuals at leading HIV conferences in the United States.
AVERY BASS
MR. CHRISTOPHER STREET WEST (CSW) LEATHER 2024
Avery is a 28-year-old Los Angeles native whose mission is to entertain and be of service to his community. This professional band geek and former Disney performer has gone from performing for the masses to dancing his way into queer hearts on go-go boxes and in music videos. He also is a detox nurse providing care for first responders and veterans overcoming addiction.
TONY VEGA
MR. LA LEATHER BEAR 2024
Tony Vega has been an active member of our leather family for several years. His most recent volunteer activities focus on the arts, Latin and Bear cultures and groups. Tony is the founder and producer of the MeatUp USA, a bicoastal fetish event for enhanced individuals and their chasers. He is part of Sandy “Mama” Reinhardt’s family and is known as Mama’s Modded Fist Pig. He currently serves on the board for Orlando Leather Pride.
DOUG MILLIKEN
MR. REGIMENT 2024
Doug Milliken went to school for a PhD in Music History, and has traveled all over the world playing concerts and teaching. He’s helped raise millions of dollars, both as an AIDS/LifeCycle rider & roadie, and as Vice President of the board for an AIDS non-profit. He’s currently producing a podcast on Leather in Los Angeles, connecting with those who paved the way for us, and helping to mentor the next generation.
J. CARTER
MR. SISTER LEATHER 2024
A transmasc non-binary writer, multidisciplinary creative, and sex and kink educator of Jewish and Native American descent – J. Carter worked at The Pleasure Chest from 2019 to 2023, and started teaching educational sex and kink workshops in late 2019. His areas of specialization are strap-on play, squirting, and electroplay.
HARWICK
MR. PRECINCT LEATHER 2024
Loyally collared to his partner for over three years, Harwick is an assistant manager at Precinct DTLA. Celebrating his sixth sobriety date this March, he hopes to be an example of a sober individual working in nightlife and being kinky. Harwick has partnered with the Sexual Health Education Program (SHEP) at the LA LGBT Center to make harm reduction kits readily available for customers of Precinct.
