The fabulous out filmmaker John Waters, known for such films as Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Desperate Living, Hairspray, Cry-Baby, Serial Mom, Pecker, Cecil B. Demented and others, received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame this week, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
“God, here I am, closer to the gutter than ever,” the 77-year-old, long been referred to as a maestro of “trash” films or the “king of filth,” said to throngs of fans and well-wishers.
