Chris Evans has been formally announced as the recipient of People’s Sexiest Man Alive title in 2022, reports Out magazine.
In the last five years, recipients included Paul Rudd (2021), Michael B. Jordan (2020), John Legend (2019), Idris Elba (2018), and Blake Shelton (2017). Evans is the third-ever actor in the MCU’s Avengers team to be named People’s Sexiest Man Alive, succeeding Rudd (2021) and Chris Hemsworth (2014).
Overall, it’s a pretty unanimous opinion among mainstream audiences that Evans’ great looks and physique make him incredibly deserving of this title. And yet, some critics believe that this also feels like a quite dull and boring choice for the year of 2022.
