Roughly 5% of Americans aged 18 to 29 identify as transgender or nonbinary, a Pew Research Center survey has found, more than any other adult age group, reports Forbes.
Pew’s survey, which was released during Pride month, comes during a time when the LGBTQ community has been targeted by lawmakers across the country.
