During its debut week, Heartstopper ranked at number 7 on Netflix’s Top 10 TV English titles, just two days after its release. Based on Netflix’s methodology of measuring a film or TV show by the number of hours it was viewed, over 14 million hours were watched. It also ranked in the weekly top 10 on Netflix in 12 countries.
The series has received critical acclaim. The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported a “Certified Fresh” 100% approval rating.
Season 1 is out now on Netflix.
