The Winter Olympic Games in Beijing are underway — and there are plenty of LGBTQ+ athletes competing for Olympic gold and glory, reports Out magazine
Athletes who have won a medal at the Beijing Olympics (so far) include bisexual speed skater Ireen Wüst (of Team Netherlands), four-time World Champion and five-time European Champion ice dancer Guillaume Cizeron, and Alex Carpenter of Team USA who took home the silver medal in Women’s Ice Hockey.
