Pose, the new series from Ryan Murphy — creator behind shows like Glee, American Horror Story, and American Crime Story — arrives during Pride month. And it’s a perfect fit, reports Gay Star News.
Set in 1980s New York City, Pose explores various aspects of life in the city, including “the ball culture world, the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe and the downtown social and literary scene.”
The show has the highest number of trans actors in series regular roles on a TV show ever.
The eight-episode series premieres on FX on 3 June.
