CUT Barber
The perfect place for men to be groomed in a “Glam Meets Testosterone” setting.
BY VICTOR MELAMED
I had a premise in my head for quite awhile about opening a chain of glamorous yet masculine-driven barber shops,” reveals fitness model, general contractor, designer and all around business mogul Scott Cullens.
“Being a builder, I obviously love design plus I get my haircut every week so why not create the perfect place for men to be groomed in a “Glam Meets Testosterone” setting?”
“As a designer and builder, I really like the balance between aggressive and soft elements (i.e. red crystal chandeliers and straight razors, Carrara marble tables with steel barber chairs, porcelain wall-hung urinals against ultra swanky wallpaper) I wanted the environment to feel aggressively masculine like an old-time barber shop yet have today’s sensibilities of a pampered, successful gentleman.”
“CUT Barber is unique in its design, style, workflow, amenities and talent” says Cullens.
“We offer clients a cold beer or wine or even a hot latte while they wait for the expert to call them to the chair. We offer real straight razor shaves and facials, private area for body hair trim and the only barber shop where you can enjoy your beer at a urinal with a Murano crystal chandelier above your head! Prices for a cut are only $25. Most people walk in and assume we are extraordinarily expensive however we are less than most other shops.”
