Bernardo Rabello, 29, a model and personal trainer representing the Sul Fluminense region, is the first transgender man to compete in the national Mister Brasil CNB 2025 competition.

Rabello, originally from Rio de Janeiro and now living in Resende, expressed his “happiness and responsibility” at this historic moment for both the LGBTQIAPN+ community and society.

While trans women have competed in CNB’s female categories before, Rabello’s participation marks a first for Mister Brasil.

CNB organizer Marina emphasized the organization’s commitment to inclusion, noting the historical delays in representation within beauty pageants.

Rabello’s mother, Viviane, shared her immense pride and unwavering support for her son’s dream, highlighting his “authenticity and courage” as inspiring.
