Josh Sanders, a TV news reporter, currently at the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia, was assigned last week to cover the LA fires, bringing him back to Los Angeles.
The former athlete, who came out publicly as gay and shared his struggles as a gay Christian over a decade ago, was an Angeleno for several years, before his pursuit of TV news brought him to Phoenix, reports Outsports.
Sanders brought many reports over the last week to CBS viewers, giving Americans, as well as people around the world, a glimpse of one of the worst disasters California has ever witnessed.
