LGBTQ advocate Pedro Pascal slammed J.K. Rowling’s celebratory post about a U.K. court ruling that doesn’t recognize transgender women as women, calling her behavior “heinous loser behavior.”
His comment appeared on an Instagram video by activist Tariq Raouf, who called for a boycott of the “Harry Potter” franchise after Rowling posted on X, “I love it when a plan comes together. #SupremeCourt #WomensRights,” following the ruling that defined women as biologically female under the Equality Act.
Raouf criticized Rowling’s “cocky” attitude towards royalties and urged the public to stop supporting all “Harry Potter” related media, including books, the upcoming TV reboot, and theme parks.
Pascal, echoing this sentiment, labeled Rowling’s actions as “heinous,” “awful,” and “disgusting” in his comment on Raouf’s post.
