We finally have our first full look at Mid-Century Modern, a new sitcom that takes a classic TV formula—a group of “old” friends cohabitate in a house together, hijinks ensue—and gives it a big gay “Golden Girls” twist, reports Queerty.
Transporting audiences to Palm Springs, – the series opens on a funeral, of all places, where long-time pals Bunny Schneiderman (Nathan Lane), Jerry Frank (Matt Bomer), and Arthur Broussard (Nathan Lee Graham) are reunited to mourn a dear friend.
Their recent loss has them all realizing they’ve been missing something: each other! So, on a whim, Bunny convinces the guys to move into his spacious, mid-century modern home (Ah! The show’s title!) so they can live out their golden years together.
