By Timothy Blankenship

Renowned psychic medium Travis Holp is set to make his Los Angeles debut at The Vault in the Beverly Center on Sunday, September 29, at 7pm.

Known for his powerful live readings and deep connections to the spiritual realm, Holp has captivated audiences with his warm approach and insightful messages from loved ones who have passed on.

Now, with a book deal in the works and a nationwide tour kicking off, Holp is ready to share his healing and transformative gifts with an even wider audience. In an interview with THE FIGHT Holp discusses his journey, his upcoming book, and what audiences can expect from his LA show.

How is appearing in front of a live audience different from your private sessions?
Live events are unique because you never know who is going to come through, but there are always gorgeous messages that not only resonate for the recipient, but for others in the crowd as well. Live events are different from one-on-one sessions because we get to do this in community. There’s a shared aspect of experiencing big human moments like grief, healing, and joy that we all get to experience collectively. What I can guarantee is that we will have a lot of laughs, experience incredible messages from those in Spirit, and maybe share some tears.

You’ve recently signed a book deal. Can you share a bit about the focus of the book?
The book will focus on major themes of life like healing, having courage, love… Each chapter shares a reading that I’ve done and how those messages from loved ones in Spirit support those lessons. I also share how these readings have shaped my experience. These stories mean so much to me, and I hope they resonate with folks who read them.

You’ve gained a following online with your powerful readings. How do you balance the emotional and spiritual energy of connecting with so many people, both in person and through social media?
Listening to my body and getting rest, mostly mental rest, has been incredibly valuable. Boundaries aren’t just for folks in our life; they are for us, too. I have to respect my own boundaries with my energy; otherwise, I will burn myself out. It means saying “no” to certain things, but I’ve grown to be more than okay with that word.

What was the defining moment in your journey as a psychic medium that made you realize this was your calling?
It was during one of my very first readings. I was so nervous to give the reading, but I heard a voice in my head say, “Just deliver what you hear and see.” And I did, and the reading went great. When I finished, I felt something I hadn’t felt before… it was the first time in my life I felt whole and complete. That’s when I knew this is what I am here to do.

Travis Holp appears at The Vault in the Beverly Center (8500 Beverly Blvd, Suite 860) on Sunday, Sept 29th at 7pm. For tickets, visit: www.travisholp.com
